Mark your calendars: the TGA 2025 ceremony will take place on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. It begins at 5:00 PM in California, which corresponds to 2:00 AM in France on the night of December 11 to 12, for about 3 hours of showtime. Yes, it’s late — but it’s worth staying up for!

TGA 2025: how to vote for your favorite games?
Good news: everyone can participate! Voting has been open since November 17 and ends on December 10, 2025 at 6:00 PM (Los Angeles time, which is 3:00 AM in France). To vote, simply go to the official ceremony website.
Nothing complicated: log in with your Google, Twitter/X, Twitch, or Facebook account. In just a few clicks, you’ll access the 30 categories and can support your favorite games. You can vote once per category and even change your vote until the deadline.
Important detail: your vote counts for 10% of the final result. The remaining 90% comes from a jury of over 150 video game professionals from around the world. Only the Players’ Voice category works differently: it is decided 100% by the players, and voting opens on December 1.
The Game Awards: where to watch the 2025 ceremony live?
Big news this year: the Game Awards 2025 are arriving on Amazon Prime Video! It’s a first for the ceremony, which will be broadcast in more than 200 countries. But no worries if you don’t have Prime — the show will still be available for free on many other platforms, including:
- YouTube (in 4K quality);
- Twitch (in 2K for the first time);
- TikTok;
- X (formerly Twitter).
If you watch TGA 2025 on Twitch, take advantage of Twitch Drops: stay connected for at least 30 minutes to receive exclusive rewards in a selection of partner games, as well as a limited chat badge. Streamers will also be able to co-stream the event and watch it with their community.
As for the atmosphere, expect legendary musical performances from The Game Awards orchestra, conducted by composer Lorne Balfe. And surprise: actors from Amazon’s Fallout series will be on stage to present awards.
GOTY 2025: who are this year’s top contenders?
The Game Awards 2025 nominations were announced on November 17. And even before the ceremony, a record has already been broken: the French game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has earned a historic 12 nominations — something never seen before! This French-made RPG is making waves and might just walk away with several awards.
For the ultimate GOTY 2025 (Game of the Year) title, six games are in the running:
